Women Mentoring Women

              Why should we have a Women Mentoring Women  program?
           Who but another woman with all of her life skills and experiences can fully understand all of the differing aspects of facing various trials like breast cancer, praying for an unsaved child, or another family member, living with an addict or alcoholic, or having that problem herself, facing divorce, being battered or other problems that some have been faced with? A willingness to talk to or give a little word of counsel can turn a woman of God and transform her whole attitude. A loving relationship between women will allow them to feel free to share embarrassing and difficult problems.
           Please pray and ask God to reveal to you what your gifts are so you can contribute to this program as we continue to seek God’s guidance and develop this exciting new ministry that will provide for every woman in the body of Christ with a voice to be heard when we are faced with problems in our own lives.
          As you pray for the development of this program also pray and ask God to protect this ministry from a critical spirit and as He causes this ministry to blossom forth, there will be a great outreach to the brokenhearted.

How to Discern
Your Gift

1.  Start with prayer. Individually and with others. Ask God to reveal your gift.

2.  Study what the Bible has to say about spiritual gifts.

3.   Ask God’s people what they observe about your abilities and effectiveness.

4.   Examine your strongest desires of interests.

5.   Look for an opportunity to serve in that capacity.

6.   Allow God to confirm by experience and the feedback of others.

7.   Notice the area in which you experience joy and ease in exercising your gift with results beyond expectations.

Train the young women to be sane and sober minded, temperate, disciplined, and to love their husbands and children, to be self controlled, chaste, homemakers, good natured, kind hearted, adapting and subordinating themselves to their husbands that the word of God may not be exposed to reproach, blasphemed, or discredited.
